Required Permissions
These permissions are needed for Mataru's core features to work.

| Manage Roles | Autorole, boosterrole, role command |
| Manage Channels | Lock, hide, nuke, logging setup |
| View Audit Log | AntiNuke detection, moderation logging |
| Send Messages | All bot responses |
| Embed Links | Rich embed responses |
| Read Message History | Snipe, purge, antinuke detection |
Optional Permissions

Role Hierarchy
Place the Mataru role above every role it needs to manage or assign. If Mataru's role is below a member's highest role, it cannot kick, ban, or timeout that member.
WARNING
If you scoped Mataru's permissions down and something isn't working, the first thing to check is whether its role is high enough in the hierarchy.
